About us

You work directly with the two owners, not a rotating account team. We reply within 2 business days, explain your numbers in plain English and agree on a flat price before we start. We both study accounting at UNC Wilmington and spend our time off on the water and in the mountains, so seasonal businesses are familiar ground.

Frequently asked questions

Still unsure? Ask us anything on the free call.

How much does it cost?

Monthly bookkeeping starts at $300 a month for businesses with up to about 100 transactions a month. Cleanup and catch-up projects are a one-time flat fee based on how many months and accounts need work. Either way, you get the exact price in writing before any work starts.

Do you prepare tax returns?

No. We keep your books clean and file your 1099s, then send year-end reports to whoever prepares your return. We're not CPAs and don't give tax advice.

What do I need to get started?

The intake form, your bank and card statements for the period, and a list of the contractors you paid. We'll send a short checklist after our call.

Is my information secure?

We work inside your QuickBooks Online through its accountant access, so you never share your login, and you can remove our access at any time. We'll never ask you to email Social Security numbers, tax IDs or bank account numbers.

Do I need QuickBooks?

If you use QuickBooks Online, we work in your file. If you use a spreadsheet or nothing yet, we'll set it up as part of the cleanup.

Do you only work with businesses in Wilmington?

We're based in Wilmington and happy to meet in person, but everything can be done remotely for businesses anywhere in North Carolina.
